Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical & Plumbing Bias

We’re currently looking to recruit a site-based Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical & Plumbing Bias. Based at a commercial, client site; this role will be focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, installations, and support event set ups.
This role will be orientated around mechanical and plumbing works with a requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other basic maintenance works which fall within the scope of the contract. This could be a variety of jobs relating to maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site whether it be a specific piece of equipment, works to a building or the site infrastructure.
You will support and participate in an on-call rota which is operated from within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers, and colleagues with interaction on a professional level being a key requirement for this position.
As an Apleona Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Plumbing Bias), we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar recognised qualification
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or similar recognised qualification
- Knowledge of Building Services – BMS, Fire Alarm preferable
- Maintenance and Cleaning of FCU’s
- Water Testing (L8), Fire Alarm testing and general fabric, handyperson tasks
- Working on and managing PPMS from CAFM system
- Working with and managing specialist sub-contractors
