    Regional Facilities Manager

    Location – Regional, covering West Midlands, Warrington and occasionally Inverness

    Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

    We’re currently looking to recruit a Regional Facilities Manager to lead, manage and deliver the critical operational requirements for one of our clients. The role will involve the day to day management of FM services to our clients’ property portfolio of multi-site, and multi-service disciplines, developing and delivering our service models in line with our strategic objectives.  

    As the Regional Facilities Manager will be accountable for the day to day management of the FM team, you will manage a number of staff including cleaners, engineers and administrators; providing them with leadership, support and direction in driving best practices throughout the sites. Leading regular operational meetings and team briefings, you will be responsible for ensuring all company communications are cascaded to your team members and deliver clear understanding of business objectives and contract performance.

    In addition, you will support the BD team where appropriate in bidding for new contracts, and review tenders ensuring all future account development opportunities are commercially, technically and operationally viable.

    As an Apleona Regional Facilities Manager, we’re looking for:

    • NEBOSH General Certificate
    • NEBOSH Fire and / or CDM Certificate
    • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (desirable)
    • Experience off managing the delivery of FM services to customers
    • Both Hard/Technical and Soft Services experience
    • Experience of working with direct and outsourced service delivery teams
    • Experience of managing and leading a team of supervisors or equivalent
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage disparate teams of regional geographical spread and varied functionality
    • Ability to manage change quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining effective service provision
    • Full UK driving license and access to personal vehicle
