Finance Manager
Location – Hybrid working, based in the UK. With monthly travel to Ireland

Apleona are seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership within our Facilities Services division. In this key role, you’ll drive financial planning, reporting and analysis, oversee cash and liquidity management, and ensure strong compliance and governance. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, shaping financial strategy and delivering insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead month-end and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear variance analysis
- Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and medium-term financial plans
- Develop robust cashflow forecasting and support treasury activities
- Safeguard balance sheet integrity through effective reconciliations and controls
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance systems and reporting
- Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights for decision-making
What you’ll bring:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or part-qualified with equivalent experience)
- 5–7 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within facilities management, real estate, or a large-scale operational environment
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end monthly financial reporting
- Strong cashflow forecasting and treasury management experience
- Leadership experience with a track record of developing finance teams
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (ERP systems experience desirable)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- A proactive, analytical mindset with a “can do” attitude
- Must hold valid UK driving license with access to personal vehicle.
- Must hold a valid passport as the role will require frequent travel to Ireland.
