We are currently recruiting for warehouse operative to join our team in Swords, Co Dublin
Shift Pattern Monday - Sunday ( Shift 40 Hours per week Average )
Main duties and responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning and housekeeping duties within the warehouse as directed by the Supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping floors, litter control, and general site upkeep
- Undertake labour-intensive tasks such as lifting and moving pallets and materials
- Operate machinery and equipment safely, following training and instructions provided
- Use cleaning tools, materials, and equipment in line with company procedures and safety standards
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including safety footwear, high-vis clothing, and eye protection
- Report hazards, defects, or incidents to the Supervisor promptly
- Assist with general housekeeping and waste management around the warehouse
- Store and report lost and found items in line with site procedures
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and cooperative approach when working on site
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Attend training sessions and briefings as required
- Take responsibility for personal health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work activities
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and client information
- Be flexible and adaptable in response to changing operational requirements
Qualifications and experience
- Good working knowledge of English
- Access to a car due to remote location
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, safe working practices
- Ability to use equipment and machinery required to carry out assigned tasks
- Physically capable of undertaking manual and labour-intensive work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of principles of chemical safety (desirable)
- Basic computer literacy (desirable)
