Main duties and responsibilities
- Oversee and follow up on all weekly and monthly profitability figures associated with your designated client accounts.
- Overseeing the monitoring and improving Customer KPI’s/Profitability.
- Provide management information for improved commercial decision making - that is accurate, timely, accessible, insightful, and robust.
- Margin protection and tracking of account growth. Maintained through overseeing and conducting monthly commercial performance meetings.
- Responsible for the Annual Account Budgets & any re-forecasts required. Ensure reporting and monitoring of performance against the budget.
- Partner with operational, finance, and commercial teams to provide financial insight, resolve commercial issues, and support improvements in contract performance and profitability. Oversee the development and maintain a detailed cost analysis report as required by customers and business to ensure accuracy in reported numbers.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of commercial and financial information through the review, validation, and reconciliation of financial data, investigating variances and resolving issues to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
- Roll out best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts, category management, and financial reporting.
- Preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial reports.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally, a Third Level Business/Accounting or Commerce Degree
- Excel modelling experience and working knowledge of Navision an advantage.
- Previous experience in commercial analytics and strong influencing skills
- Proven track record of results and excellent PC literacy skills required.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as will a high level of flexibility with a high level commitment to success.
