    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance tech, plumbing/mechanical bias, to join our facilities management team. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of modern corporate office buildings in Dublin 2. 

    Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

     

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
    • Diagnose faults, identify solutions, and complete repairs promptly to minimise disruption to building operations.
    • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as part of a multi-disciplinary facilities team.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.
    • Maintain accurate records of work carried out, materials used, and system conditions.
    • Support other trades and team members as required to deliver a high-quality service.
    • Carry out ad hoc facilities related tasks, such as motor replacement on FCU’s, filter cleans on HVAC equipment, painting, ironmongery ppm, daily walks/bms checks, desk moves etc.
    • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency response and out-of-hours work when necessary.
    • This list is not exhaustive and you be asked to carry out a vast arrear of tasks, all within reason.

     

    Skills and Experience

    • Fully qualified plumber with a recognised trade qualification (e.g. QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent).
    • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably within a commercial or facilities management environment.
    • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, water treatment, and general building services.
    • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.                    
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
    • Full, clean driving licence required – a company van will be provided for work-related activities.
