    Electrical / Audio Visual Technician

    Location – London, SE1 7ND

    Hours – Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

    We are currently seeking a professional Audio and Visual Technician (AV Technician) who will support the client with AV Support / Set up whilst on-site. A good level of customer service will be required at this site.

     

    You will provide a professional customer orientated delivery of the AV service responding to any requests for support from users within the conference and meeting space. You will support, training and guidance to users on the operation of AV equipment within the rooms in a professional and easy to understand format.

     

    As part of this role, you will be able to discuss a client’s requirements for a meeting with them in advance of a meeting to ascertain their requirements and provide them confidence in the service to be delivered. You will act as the first point of engagement/contact with employees and visitors if and when required and be responsible for the image and visual standards of the site taking ownership of any issues or concerns.

     

     

     Essential Skills & Experience

     

    • Demonstrable experience working with audiovisual equipment.
    • Computer skills – working with various computer technology is a necessity for audiovisual professionals
    • Troubleshooting – AV technicians to troubleshoot all equipment issues in a timely manner.
    • Customer service – interfacing with customers and guests on-site to make sure their desires are met and that equipment is functioning.
    • Organisation skills – being organized will be a requirement for AV technicians due to the tools, wiring, cables, and parts that they must methodically sort and install
    • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation or any other formal electrical qualification
    • Valid UK Driving Licence.

     

     

    We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 40 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
