    Assistant Commercial (Finance) Manager

    Location – Warrington WA1. (Hybrid Working)

    Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

    In this role, you will partner the Commercial Manager and support the Commercial team in providing insight into business performance, opportunity and risk.

    This role will include supporting in the preparation of outputs to Operations and Central Finance (incl. balance sheet reconciliations, WIP reporting, contract performance to budget / forecast) adhering to business deadlines. You will support the Commercial Manager in the production of quarterly and annual planning, forecasting and reporting models.

    As Assistant Commercial Manager, you will work closely with the operational teams to improve commercial performance across their portfolio of contracts. You will also work on a continuous improvement basis to reduce the degree of manual intervention in financial processes.

    As well as producing key reports to enable the commercial team to review and challenge operations on contract performance, you will also participate in the development and implementation of resilient processes to support changes to the business.

    Our Ideal candidate will need to have:

    • Part Qualified (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) or with a desire to pursue this pathway
    • Successful in ability to meet deadlines and experience in an accounts environment.
    • Ability to demonstrate commercial knowledge that provides value added service to the business.
    • Experience in working to strict deadlines.
    • Ability to use computers to advanced level Microsoft Excel.

    We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 37.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
