    What we are looking for as a Compliance Officer:

    We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR & Compliance Administrator to support the smooth and efficient running of our people, training, and compliance processes across the business. This role plays a key part in ensuring all employee lifecycle administration, statutory compliance, and reporting requirements are managed accurately and in a timely manner.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating training compliance, producing monthly H&S, cybersecurity and pension reports, managing onboarding and leaver processes, maintaining employee benefit records, and supporting vetting and disclosure procedures for engineers across multiple regions. You will liaise closely with line managers, senior stakeholders, and external providers to ensure regulatory obligations are met and internal systems are kept fully up to date.

    This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, handling sensitive information, and maintaining accurate records across various systems and spreadsheets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Training & Compliance

    • Produce and distribute monthly training reports and proactively chase outstanding completions
    • Generate monthly H&S, Cybersecurity and DSE reports for senior stakeholders
    • Maintain the training system, including adding new starters and marking leavers
    • Monitor accreditations and renewal dates, communicating required actions

    Employee Lifecycle Administration

    • Coordinate onboarding checks and chase incomplete documentation prior to start dates
    • Administer new starter processes including system setup, documentation, and compliance checks
    • Manage leaver administration including updating systems and maintaining accurate records
    • Support probation review tracking and notify managers of upcoming reviews

    Vetting & Disclosure (Engineers)

    • Process DBS/disclosure applications for new starters across regions
    • Liaise with engineers to ensure timely completion of vetting requirements
    • Maintain and update DBS and compliance tracking spreadsheets
    • Approve relevant compliance-related invoices

    Benefits & Pension Administration

    • Administer pension processes including filing, reporting, and maintaining spreadsheets
    • Update healthcare and life cover policies for starters, leavers and salary changes
    • Process and track excess claim repayments
    • Download and reconcile monthly pension reports

    Record Management & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate personnel files and training records
    • Update internal trackers including Bradford Factor and absence monitoring
    • Manage company organogram updates and internal documentation
    • Create and update timesheets where required

    General Administration

    • Respond to enquiries received via the company admin inbox
    • File and manage incoming documentation
    • Provide ad-hoc administrative support where required
