    We are currently on the lookout for a n experienced Quality & Food Safety Manager to join our team in Dublin 14

     

    Note this role will involve some travel to different sites

     

    Shift Pattern 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

     

    Main duties and responsibilities

     

    • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the ISO 22002-2 Food Safety Standard, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s HSEQ strategy.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal quality, food safety, and HACCP audits, providing detailed reports, corrective action tracking, and follow-up verification.
    • Oversee the development, review, and continuous improvement of HACCP plans, prerequisite programs, and operational food safety controls.
    • Manage non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and timely closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
    • Support site leadership and operational teams in applying food safety best practices, always ensuring a high level of awareness and compliance.
    • Lead food safety risk assessments and ensure proactive identification and reduction of food-related hazards.
    • Maintain up-to-date food safety documentation, policies, procedures, and records in accordance with legal, customer, and certification requirements. s.
    • Deliver training and coaching to operational and management staff on food safety, quality standards, and HACCP requirements.
    • Monitor performance against food safety KPIs, providing analysis and recommendations to the HSEQ Manager and senior leadership.
    • Ensure full compliance with statutory food safety legislation, customer requirements, and internal corporate standards.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation, with emphasis on risk reduction, process control, and consistent product safet
    • Strong leadership and stakeholder‑engagement skills with the ability to influence operational teams.
    • Strong audit skills with the ability to plan, conduct, and report internal audits independently.
    • Proven ability to interpret and apply food safety legislation, codes of practice, and certification standards.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to driving safety and quality culture.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports and deliver training.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the HSEQ team.

     

    Qualifications and Experience

     

    • Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Safety, Quality Management, Environmental Health, or related discipline.
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a food safety, quality assurance, or HACCP‑focused role within foodservice, catering, facilities management, or food production environments.
    • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification (ISO standards) desirable.
    • Formal HACCP Level 3 or Level 4 certification required.
    • Demonstrated experience with ISO 22002‑2, ISO 22000, or related food safety management systems.
    • Experience preparing for, supporting, or leading external audits by certification bodies or regulatory authorities.
    • Strong capability in documentation management, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Proficient in all Microsoft packages.
    • Full clean drivers licence & access to vehicle willingness to travel
