Overall Purpose of the Job
The Facilities Assistant provides support to the onsite facilities team to provide a safe, clean and secure environment for our visitors and employees.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, equipment and facilities
- Responsible for overall cleanliness of all the organisation’s facilities.
- Maintain and complete repairs to structures, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of the site, facilities and equipment to assess conditions and readiness for visitors.
- Detail and complete maintenance requirements.
- Undertake configuration and set-up duties for AV requirements for onsite events Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the supervisor.
- Complete open and lock up procedures across the site.
- This is a flexible role where our team are required to be available at both weekdays and weekends.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade Experience Required (Carpentry, Electrical, Masonry, Plumbing).
- AV Qualification or Installation Experience.
- Ability to handle multiple requests, prioritise duties and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Working Pattern
Monday - Sunday, Shift Pattern, 15 hours per week
