    Overall Purpose of the Job

    To assist in the provision of an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with contractual obligations and company policy and standards. Lead and manage the day to day operations on the ground. Be responsible for the GMP and non GMP Cleaning operatives. Liaise closely and professionally with the Client/Client representatives in dealing with day to day operational matters. 

     

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensures the smooth running of the site adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification.
    • Supervise and investigate the quality and standard of cleaning services provided at client sites and assist the Site Lead.
    • Assist the Site Lead in the supervision of the cleaning service staff, including the allocation of workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, paying particular attention to productivity and quality control.
    • Undertake site cleaning audits.
    • Control and monitor the correct use of appropriate cleaning materials, to ensure all staff aware of MSDS and COSSH.
    • Carry out stock checks on equipment and materials as required.
    • Arrange the induction and ‘on the job’ training of the cleaning staff in accordance with relevant Apleona and client practices.
    • Recruitment of cleaning employees in accordance with relevant Apleona Company practices.
    • Ensure all documentation and logbooks entries are completed as GDP.
    • Ensure all staff are following Safety procedures and familiar with RAMS, SPA’S and PPE requirements for specific tasks.
    • Flexibility and ability to work day/night shift, 12 hour day.

     

    Person Specification

    • Strong communication skills essential.
    • Excellent organizational and management skills.
    • Efficient motivator and leader with good problem solving skills.
    • Strong English language skills.

     

    Qualifications and Experience

    • GMP experience.
    • Schedule planning.
    • Pharmaceutical background.
    • Computer literacy essential for administrative purposes.
    • Experience of using cleaning equipment.
    • Working with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT.
    • Driving license.

    Working Pattern

    Monday - Friday, 40 Hour Shift Pattern
