Overall Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the general cleaning of the premises in accordance specification, under the direction of the cleaning supervisor. Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are handled and used in the correct way in accordance with the COSHH data sheet and under BIC specification.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Vacuum and mop floors as required
- Clean toilets and polish glass/brass surfaces
- Dispose of rubbish properly
- Ensure safe use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Work safely and display relevant signage
- Report defects, safety issues, and security concerns promptly
- Participate in job-related training
- Collaborate effectively within a cleaning team
- Provide excellent customer service and professional demeanor
- Commit to excellence and responsibility
- Be environmentally conscious and promote health and safety
- Act with integrity, honesty, and loyalty

Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of safe working practices and health/safety legislation
- Ability to work independently
- Well-organized and capable of prioritizing tasks
- Flexible, honest, and reliable
- Good work record
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment preferred
- Basic health and safety knowledge
- Flexible team player
Working Pattern
Saturday to Sunday 6 am to 6 pm.
