    GMP Cleaning Operative - Job Description

    Overall, Purpose of the Job

    Perform GMP cleaning per site specifications under the cleaning supervisor’s direction. Properly handle and use cleaning equipment/materials according to COSHH data sheets and operating procedures.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Follow all site-specific and Apleona procedures and instructions.
    • Safely use all cleaning materials and equipment.
    • Ensure cleaning activities do not compromise health and safety of employees/visitors.
    • Complete log books and documentation timely as per site instructions and SOPs.
    • Plan, schedule, and execute cleaning activities with the supervisor in GMP/designated areas.
    • Report fabric defects and health and safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
    • Ensure equipment is safe before use and report any faults/service requirements.
    • Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents.
    • Undertake job-related training as required.
    • Follow gowning procedures as per site SOPs.
    • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional demeanor.
    • Commit to excellence and assume responsibility.
    • Act responsibly towards the environment and society.
    • Order and maintain safe and tidy stock rooms to avoid wastage.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Previous cleaning experience and experience using cleaning equipment are desirable.
    • Basic health and safety knowledge.

    Successful Candidate Must Also Hold

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Understanding of safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Well-organised and capable of prioritising work.
    • Flexibility, honesty, and reliability.

    Working Pattern

    24 hours per week, shift, Monday to Sunday.
