    Overall purpose of the Job

    The Occupancy/Space Planner will support the efficient and effective use of space across clients portfolio of sites. The role involves working closely with various departments across multiple sites to understand their space needs, assisting in the planning and implementation of space utilization strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for optimising work environments

    Main duties and responsibilities

    Space Planning & Project Coordination:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of space planning strategies for office and production areas.
    • Collaborate with the Site team members on space planning projects.
    • Work in conjunction with site teams to coordinating moves, adds, and changes processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    • Support the planning and execution of office reconfigurations and layout changes.

    Data Management:

    • Utilising the space planning system to maintain accurate records of space allocations, occupancy data, and floor plans.
    • Update databases and software systems with current occupancy information

    Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure all space planning activities comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and company safety policies.
    • Participate in regular safety audits and inspections of office and production spaces.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for improving space utilisation and workplace efficiency.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in space planning and workplace design.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Recognised FM, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field qualification desirable.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in space planning, facility management or related field.
    • Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment is a plus.
    • Experience in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and space planning tools desirable.
    • Familiarity with facilities management software and databases.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Working Pattern

    Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30, 40 hrs per week
